Dedicated digital power amplifier for CSW Series built-in subwoofersBass Performance that’s Out of Sight
The BASH amplifier combines the fidelity of conventional class A/B amplifiers with the efficiency of class D amplifiers. The bottom line is high power, and cool, reliable operation with precise definition and low distortion. Plug-in data cards for each subwoofer, called SPEX cards, preprogram equalization, infrasonic filter characteristics and power output that best matches the subwoofer being used. Each SPEX card also custom install subwoofers/amp has specific power control circuitry tailored to each subwoofer’s requirements for an even greater level of reliability.

The CSW155 combines stealth convenience with incredible technology to rival the performance of many free-standing, floor-cluttering subwoofers. With one of the shallowest drivers ever engineered (a Polk Audio exclusive), this subwoofer produces air-moving, room-filling bass, while disappearing behind an included perforated aluminum grille (15 1/2″ x 17 1/2″) that looks like an «air conditioning return» vent. The Polk CSW100 is the least visually intrusive built-in subwoofer on the market today. It’s designed for in-floor, in-ceiling or in-furniture placement. It fits comfortably between standard joists and the narrower QuietFloor spacing. Once installed, all you see is a tiny 4 1/2×14-inch grille (supplied). Visitors to your home will think they’re seeing an air vent and they’ll wonder where all that awesome bass is coming from!
