That’s because the DAC-1 is built on the same foundation as our DAC-2 series: the industry standard ESS Reference 9018 32-bit DAC. Now with the LE version, we expand on this exceptional performance by adding the ability to play high-resolution DSD files and an improved USB input! The new DAC-1 LE USB input will process signals up to 32 bit in length, and sample rates up to 384 kHz PCM or DSD256.

Add to that our proprietary discrete output stages, a hefty, balanced power supply, automatic oversampling for precise output filtering and all the necessary inputs and outputs to accommodate any digital source and you have a phenomenal product that outperforms other DACs in its class. Femto grade clock option
